Snow Day Trail Wheelin Rescue Mission

After having to leave Mikes big block Ford buggy in the woods for a few nights it was time to get out and drag that fat girl home. This time with Jon in his oneton Toyota buggy with some modified skidder chains and Mike in his Toyota diffed Suzuki buggy. With two 33″ tires strapped to Mikes rig, a bunch of extra straps, batteries, hand tools we headed back up the trail. Only a few days had gone by but it was a completely different trail. Most of the snow was gone and the few inches that were left were soft.

Snow Wheelin in the Tacoma

Snow Wheelin in the Tacoma

How to mount a tire with ether

How to mount a tire with Ether

If you do a lot of wheeling you’ve probably blown tire bead at some point. This video is going back a long time now (2008) and I like to feel we have learned a bit since that time but when you’re in the middle of a rockcrawling competition and you need to get a big tire back on the rim in the woods the best option is still always using Ether. Went out on May long weekend for an old school style “Bush Cup” Event. Very few rules and just a good excuse for a bunch of crazy guys to get together and push their rigs harder than they should. Continue reading →

Mild Moab in the Toyota’s

After many trips to Moab in the buggies and the rock crawlers, it was time to do things differently. Instead of spending an entire day to climb three miles up some crazy canyon this trip was about Moab Rock crawling Toyota’s and low-difficulty expedition-style wheeling.  Continue reading →
