2001–2010 Chevy 2500 Panhard Bracket – Solid Axle Swap

Overview

This kit includes frame-side and axle-side brackets to add a panhard bar to a 2001–2010 Chevy 2500/3500 solid axle swap using a Ford SuperDuty Dana 60.

The frame-side bracket is a three-piece design with three 9/16″ mounting holes spaced 1″ apart for adjustability. It is spaced 2.625″ wide to fit a Johnny Joint or heim.

The axle-side bracket is designed for a 3.5″ axle tube and also features three 9/16″ holes spaced 1″ apart. The lower mount is spaced 1 7/8″ wide to accept a 3/4″ or 7/8″ heim.

Heims, Johnny Joints, and panhard bar material are not included. This keeps shipping costs down and allows you to choose your preferred joint type and tubing.

Design Notes

These parts were developed during the Pathmaker SilverDuty 2001–2010 Chevy 2500 solid axle swap project. The goal was to create brackets that fit the Chevy frame correctly while positioning a 2005–2017 Ford Super Duty Dana 60 in the proper location for suspension geometry, steering clearance, and durability under real trail use.

Panhard Mount

This mount positions the panhard bar to maintain correct axle centering and minimize bump steer.
