Overview

This transmission crossmember is a crucial part to your Chevy SAS project. Replacing the stock transmission mount while also giving you mounting tabs for your radius arms these transmission crossmembers are a must. With two welded on frame brackets for either side and a bolt on center section this kit comes with everything you need to replace your old stock cross member and be ready for your radius arms. I also have an option if wanting to run stock Ford Radius Arms that come with your axle.

Design Notes

These parts were developed during the Pathmaker SilverDuty 2001–2010 Chevy 2500 solid axle swap project. The goal was to create brackets that fit the Chevy frame correctly while positioning a 2005–2017 Ford Super Duty Dana 60 in the proper location for suspension geometry, steering clearance, and durability under real trail use.

Transmission Crossmember

This transmission crossmember replaces the stock crossmember, using the stock Chevrolet/GM transmission mount. The kit comes with two weld on brackets that are cut, ready to bend and weld to the frame, using the stock crossmember bolt for alignment. The middle part of the crossmember bolts in and out after welding to allow for easy of transmission removal.

Radius Arm Mounts

Choose your radius arm mount style, either for a heim joint or johnny joint with a 2 5/8″ spacing if you’re going to run custom radius arms made from DOM or Schd80. You can also choose larger mounts so you can run stock Ford radius arms from 2005-2017 Ford F250-F350 Super Duty. There are slight differences in the crossmember due to the wider spacing on the stock arms.
